She's being Framed
Rebuilt front end suspension, new brakes, new leaf springs, and a rebuilt rear end. Going to have a "Rolling" frame soon.
Going for a ride
This is the first sunshine she has seen in quite some time. Quite the project to get her down off the blocks, rolled outside and loaded onto the trailer.
Wasted
While it looks terrible in places, a good body man and readily available patch panels will make her well again

Wednesday, February 1, 2017
Well here it is February 1, 2017 and Mabel's restoration has begun anew. Actually I started a few weeks ago and Doug has been going off and on for quite a while. We are in the full frame off mode. Doug was responsible for getting the body off the frame by attaching cleats in the ceiling joists in his garage. No small task. She is pretty well stripped down with just a few incidentals left on the dash and around the headliner edges. They are on the agenda for tomorrow. The main body has an appointment at the blast shop on Monday, The fenders are there already.
We bought a frame of square tubular steel and we have the body mounted on it. This will roll up onto my newly acquired car hauler trailer. The car's frame was stripped completely down and it has been blasted and has been painted. It will go to the shop for rebuilding into a rolling chassis. All new front end and disk brakes in the front.
I had the rear end blasted and sent out for new bearings and seals. It is now in the powder coat shop.
